Design and features of Sony LinkBuds
The design of Sony Linkbuds attracts the most. Many people, if not already known, will not feel that they are earphones. These have been given the outer year fit and they do not go inside in the year canal. No stem has been given in them. The driver’s driver chamber has a donut -like piercing, so that the surrounding sound can be heard clearly even when the earphones are on.
This means that even when they are on, I can hear the environment around me. If it is equally important for you to listen to the sounds around you, then you are not going to get a better design at the moment. This unique design also gives comfortable fit, with Sony Arc support. Five pears of tips are found in the sales package for customizable fit. According to the shape of my ear, I found the smallest size tips the most comfortable. But this affected security. The head was afraid of the earpiece coming out when shaking the head a little, so you have to try them and choose the most comfortable and safe pear.
The earpiece of Sony Linkbuds weigh 4.1 grams and has been rateed IPX4 for water rasistance. The outside sides have an interesting texture. They have been made touch sensitive for controls. Interestingly, you do not need to tap the earpiece, for this, a feature called Wide Area Tap has been given in them.
When enabled through the app you can tap on your cheek in front of your ear. This gives control over earbuds. It worked well for me. This made the control on device very easy.

It has a lid release button and indicator light in the front. The backwards have a peering button and a type C port. For charging, the earpiece has to fit their place, but it becomes a habit soon after closing the lid, so it gets used to it soon. At this price point you do not get wireless charging, which is a disappointing thing.
Its second features have supported Voice Assistant, Google Fast Fair, Spotify tap and 360 reality auto. There is no active noise cancellation in it, but due to the position and design of the headsets, it does not miss.
Sony LinkBuds App and Specifications
Sony LinkBuds work through the Sony Headphones Connect app, like the rest of the company’s headsets which are available for both iOS and Android. The app has a long list of features for them, including Speak to Chat, Equisition, 360 Reality Audio Configuration, Tap Control Customization, Adaptive Volume Control, Auto Play and Pose and Firmware updates etc.
Some of these features are also present in Sony’s old headsets. Sony Linkbuds have adaptive volume control which adjusts the volume according to the noise or voices coming from the surrounding environment. With the help of Wide Area Tap Togal, you can use on device control even without touching the earpiece.
For connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2 has been given with which SBC and AAC Bluetooth codes are supported. Here is not the support of advanced Bluetooth codec, which is a disappointing thing at this price point. The earphones have a 20-20,000Hz frequency response range. Apart from 5 payers of arch support fittings, you also get a USB Type C Cable in the box.
Sony LinkBuds Performance and Battery Life
Sony’s linkbads have been designed in such a way that they cannot be compared to any other product in this price segment. There is no pacific noise cancellation nor active noise cancellation. Nevertheless, the company gives a comfortable fit, the awareness of the surrounding environment and the ability to use a variety of functions and use.
Initially it seemed a bit difficult to get into their habit, but overall they give good experience, as I find in other earphones. They become favorite earphones for me due to the comfort to be used for the whole day, multipurpose nature and ambient awareness.
It seemed very challenging to listen to the audio that is going on earphones without psychial noise cancellation, but earphones gave good experience in the direction of volume and audio. Sonic signature looked a bit strange, in which the sub-base frequency was very weak and the mid base was also quite dull.
Croatia Squad and Frey’s White Horse felt fine to hear in a loud voice in the house. However, this aggressive house track did not seem to be stripped and attacks and its deep and rhythmic beats looked a bit hollow.
Nevertheless, the sound looked quite balanced and found details in the mid range. The reason for this may be its form factor. Also, the ambient sound with audio play can also affect it. But it can also be said that it does not fit in the music of Jor in many ways.
These earphones are seen struggling a little in outdoor. After 80 percent of the volume, I was able to hear the audio running in earphones comfortably. But at this point again, the surrounding sound was not detected. There was no problem in the quiet area, but the sounds coming from the busy road in Mumbai were constructing a lot.
Due to the tuning of these earbuds, they work well for voice-based content such as audio books, movies and TV shows and YouTube videos. Voice hears quite clear. With this, the quality of voice calls is also very good. They get a good calling experience at the slightly high level of the volume. Rather, the opening of ears for outside noise during calls makes calls more natural.
Their battery life will be called average. In these, neither the active noise cancellation of battery consumption has been given nor the advanced Bluetooth codec support, yet the average of the battery is disappointed. On the moderate volume, it was able to last 4 hours 35 minutes.

Sony makes the best wireless headphones and earphones. It has a large range of products that can be selected according to the need. Sony Linkbuds come in the company’s unique products. These are usually opposite to the design found in trend and special types of user are designed to give experience.
Sony linkbuds are successful in giving comfortable fit, ambient sound experience, sound quality. However, your music experience may be slightly affected in the noise environment. Together, due to weak base level, some zonar music can get strange experiences. I loved using these earphones for calls, outdoor walks and everyday work on my work desk.
Sony Linkbuds are expensive at a price of Rs 19,990 and only in the price of Rs 14,990 of pre-order, they are expensive. These are good for users who want good experience with voice -based sound and are looking for good ambient earphones. But, if your inclination is more towards music, then I will suggest Sony WF-1000XM4 present in this price range.
